Frequently Asked Questions
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the garden on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
We invite you to RSVP online here. Please RSVP by July 1st, 2026.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Due to space and safety concerns (water without appropriate supervision), we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
We are currently working on reserving room blocks at multiple hotels in the area. Hotel room block information is available above.
Given the expected holiday weekend beach traffic, we are recommending guests stay on the east side of the Bay Bridge near the wedding venue.
Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
There is parking available onsite at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Venue. We additionally plan to have shuttles available from our preferred hotels to our venue site. More info on shuttle timing to come!
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
The doors to the venue will 30 minutes ahead of our ceremony time. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 15-20 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.
What's the dress code for your wedding?
Our dress code is cocktail attire. We ask that men wear a suit and tie. For women, a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress is appropriate..
Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?
We are limiting additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation. Unfortunately, no additional guests can be accommodated.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
We plan on having an entree choice that's vegan, gluten and nut free to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. Our cocktail hour appetizers will also all be clearly marked if they are allergy friendly (and there will be multiple allergy-friendly options). If you have additional restrictions that go beyond what we've listed here, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!
