How it all began
Our journey together started in the summer of 2022, when Megan moved from Reno, Nevada to Baltimore to begin her pediatric residency. Fresh to the city, she swiped right on Evan, and their first date was set.
Of course, like any good love story, things didn’t go entirely as planned. The restaurant Evan had in mind happened to be closed on Tuesdays (he forgot to check the hours), but instead of letting it ruin the night, they wandered around Fells Point, grabbed drinks at a local bar, and found instant chemistry. Before long, they were strolling the streets and talking for hours.
The next day, Megan was supposed to fly out to Chicago for a conference, but a weather delay turned her plans upside down. When her flight was rebooked for the following day, she didn’t waste any time. She texted Evan and asked if he wanted to hang out again. Evan invited her over to his house for a rooftop night, and once again, they spent hours talking—laughing, connecting, and realizing something special was blossoming.
Megan even texted her friend Faria that night saying, “I think I am going to marry this man." And from there, everything just clicked.

Over the next few months, their relationship only grew stronger. One of their early dates was a pizza-and-sunset boat ride that perfectly encapsulated the easy-going, fun nature of their relationship.
Whether it was celebrating and commiserating over Ravens games, frolicking in the cherry blossoms of DC, or indulging in Baltimore’s restaurant scene, they shared both the highs and lows together.
Over their first year of dating, they formed life long friendships, went on adventures, and celebrated Evan's 30th birthday with a bit of John Mayor (Evan may have been shirtless on a counter top singing Gravity).
As time passed, they moved in together in July 2023 (with Alex and Adam still around, keeping things lively). Megan entered what she calls her “New Girl” era. By October, they had added Percy and Piper to the mix, and Evan slowly became "more of a cat guy" although he will adamantly deny it.
The Engagement
On March 15, 2025, Evan made the moment unforgettable. He had orchestrated an elaborate surprise, bringing Megan’s family out to celebrate with her, followed by a party with all their friends and loved ones to mark the beginning of this new chapter together.
Through all the twists and turns, Megan and Evan have found something truly special—building a life together, full of love, laughter, and plenty of pizza on the boat. And now, they’re so excited to continue their adventure as husband and wife.
